The flat is on the mezzanine floor and is accessed via five steps. It comprises a bedroom with a double bed, a living room with a sofa bed and a recliner, as well as a kitchen and a bathroom with a shower.

There is a security camera, but it only monitors the outside entrance area. This is because people have sometimes camped out in the entrance area. Nobody wants that.

• If you are arriving by car: You can usually park on the street in front of the door. Otherwise, just around the corner.
• Cyclists are also very welcome and can park their bikes in the entrance hall. E-bikes can be charged there.

• 150m bus stop Ludwigstr. (route 21)
• 270 m bus stop Konradstr. (route 82 - bus circles around the city)

Shopping:

The Netto supermarket is right next door. Open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday. There is a bakery there that sells bread, rolls, sandwiches (including filled rolls), and cakes.

Food:

• Our neighbor (corner entrance of the building) Road-Runner offers kebabs, pizza, and various other items and also delivers to the apartment.
• A little way up Bergstraße is an Asian restaurant: Saigon. It serves good Vietnamese cuisine.

There are three restaurants on Schloßplatz (or Ludwigstraße):

• Shahba Rose Café & Restaurant – Lebanese cuisine
• Al Castello – upscale Italian cuisine
• Bab Scharqi – Syrian cuisine

There are several parks in the immediate vicinity (each a 6-minute walk away):

• Park am Schlossplatz (tiny) – two blocks away.
• Schlosspark (large) – downhill on Bergstraße.
• Küchwaldpark (huge – city forest) – walk 4 blocks on Ludwigstraße.
• Luisenplatz (small) – turn right on Salzstraße and cross the B95.
• Park am Schlossteich (500 m)
